Sophie La Giraffe
Now a ‘must have’ for every baby Sophie La Giraffe was born in France in 1961. She quickly became a best seller and has gone on to wow over 20 million babies (and parents!) with her natural beauty and charm. These days in France 9 out of 10 newborn babies are given their own Sophie La Girafe.

Most importantly her flexible, renewable, natural rubber materials and non-toxic paint mean Sophie the Giraffe is a safe and all-natural teething toy for your little one. She is designed so that little ones can grasp her easily and she squeaks if she is squeezed. The perfect gift for a new baby.

Vulli, a company based in Rumilly in the Haute-Savoie region of France has continued to keep the jealously-guarded secret of how this wonder toy is made. In today’s fast paced world it is unusual to see a high production toy still "traditionally produced" and made by hand: Sophie requires more than 14 manual manufacturing steps.

Babies Go
As played on the Chris Evans breakfast show Babies Go album CDs bring the likes of The Beatles, Coldplay, Abba, and even Take That to the ears of babies and toddlers throughout the UK. Each album contains over 13 delightful renditions of hits from each artist: instrumental recordings from some of the biggest bands and artists past and present.
Babies Go CDs cleverly re-record each track as a lullaby appealing to both parents and children alike.
As we all know, young children and babies love simple, uncomplicated melodies to lull them to sleep – especially on long car journeys. But after the umpteenth playing of that classic nursery rhymes CD, parents can be left feeling a little exasperated.
Each Babies Go title contains 13 or 14 full length hit tracks from the respective artist and takes a full month to re-create, following the exact arrangement of the original tracks but re-creating them entirely using only musical instruments that have a calming and appealing feel to babies and toddlers. Each track is meticulously made to a very high standard providing a delightful ‘homage’ to the original track.

BabyAid
Baby Aid was conceived by mumpreneur, Lorna Smith. Being a mum herself, and knowing first hand the reality of the accidents that can occur, from babies being burnt in coffee shops to toddler tumbles, Lorna was inspired to create something compact and stylish that every mum can carry with her at all times.

Hence BabyAid was born. A compact first aid kit for mums to take with her BabyAid contains everything needed for common emergencies from common plasters to burn gel.

Boo Boo
Boo Boo was born in 2008 by two ex-magazine editors Jennifer and Corinna who met at the start of their journalism careers. After falling pregnant at the same time with their second children, it was while on maternity leave that the idea for their natural skin care range was born. Jennifer, a beauty expert, had been extensively researching and writing about the preservatives and synthetic ingredients used in beauty products, and their negative effects on both the skin and environment. Corinna meanwhile, had been honing her skills on launching products nationally, as well as display and marketing. With the birth of their respective daughters, the search for kind, gentle yet effective skincare suitable for use on themselves and their families proved to be fruitless. In a phone call to Corinna, Jennifer complained about the ugly grey tubs of nappy barrier cream on offer and suggested they’d do better launching their own range. The seed was planted and two years of research, fact-finding, formulating and design saw Boo Boo launch in the summer of 2008.
“Our philosophy was, and still is, simple,” say Corinna and Jennifer, “to create affordable, luxurious products that are effective and kind to all skin types, and that look fabulous too – we want our customers to be as happy with the look of our goodies as they are with the results. From day one, we have always insisted that manufacture stays within the UK to help support home-grown business and to ensure we could maintain a stringent quality control.
Three years later and we’re still as excited and passionate about creating target specific skin care suitable for babies and women both pre and post pregnancy. We’ve worked really hard at building up a trusted reputation through the premium quality of our products and the level of customer care we offer, ensuring an all round positive and happy experience with Boo Boo. We feel that quality skincare shouldn’t be an extravagance reserved for special occasions, which is why every one of our products is honestly priced and really does make a difference to the look and feel of your skin. Enjoy!”

Breastvest
Breastvest was invented by mother-of-one Sam Telfer during her maternity leave in 2007.

After giving birth to Fred and deciding to breastfeed, she was conscious that she had two choices: either limit her wardrobe options to a woeful selection of hole and flap-filled breastfeeding tops, or show the world the burst balloon which had apparently crept in and replaced her stomach.

She explains: "I found breastfeeding clothing pretty shapeless and often felt ridiculous trying to negotiate the variety of holes, poppers and flaps while trying to give Fred his next feed – especially when we were in the middle of a busy cafe or restaurant. Also, although I wanted to feed Fred for at least six months, the thought of not being able to wear any of my favourite pre-pregnancy tops, just because I was breastfeeding was frustrating. So, I started wearing non-breastfeeding tops, and went on to ruin each and every neckline in quick succession from pulling them down to feed."

Once she talked to few fellow breastfeeding mums about her problem, it quickly became clear she wasn't the only one who wanted some sort of simple but effective coverage for their postnatal tummy when breastfeeding.
And she certainly wasn't the only frustrated mum who wanted to open the doors to her pre-pregnancy wardrobe without having to think about the practicalities of breastfeeding.

Following a fruitless search for what she was looking for, she opted for a homemade solution... involving an old maternity vest and a pair of scissors. Sam says: "What I was looking for was a vest, without the breast-bit. The straps held it in place, and the vest – which needed to be a long one - covered my postnatal tummy. It meant I could wear normal tops, and just pull them up when I wanted to feed... and it didn't interfere with my nursing bra."

And so, the first breastvest prototype was born.
breastvest is a unique piece of breastfeeding underwear, designed to be used in addition to your nursing bra, to provide a comfortable layer of support and coverage for your postnatal tummy. breastvest covers your postnatal tummy generously and discreetly, and allows to wear normal tops while breastfeeding your baby. All you have to do is unhook your nursing bra and lift your top up. Don't worry about exposing your postnatal tummy... breastvest has got you covered.

Clippasafe
We at Clippasafe consider ourselves to be insightful and understanding when it comes to your child’s safety. With families of our own, we really do appreciate the need for quality products that keep babies and young children safe in the home, car and when out and about.
Leading the way in the child safety market, Clippasafe constantly build on our reputation for developing innovative products. They consider themselves to be insightful and understanding when it comes to your child’s safety. With families of their own they really do appreciate the need for quality products that keep babies and young children safe in the home, car and when out and about.
The family-run company has been manufacturing child safety products for over 50 years. It all started when Gordon Cheetham first produced a range of child safety harnesses in the late 1950s. When Gordon's sons, Roger and Russell took over the business in 1988, they thought it was an ideal opportunity to follow in their father’s footsteps and work on producing new and innovative products.
Following market research, they found that many first-time parents were not aware of many dangers found in everyday environments for inquisitive young children. With this firmly in their minds, they went on to work out how they could solve the growing number of child safety issues in and out of the home. After a lot of hard work and many designs later, the Clippasafe brand evolved into a whole world of child safety products, and they’ve never looked back since.

Cuddledry
The Cuddledry concept was founded by Helen Wooldridge and Polly Marsh, two long term friends, now working mums. Their first product was the organic Cuddledry baby bath towel - now a multiple award-winner and a 'must-have' for all new mums and dads.
They discovered through their own experience that learning how to take care of your newborn was stressful enough, without the extra slippery problems associated with getting your precious wriggling bundle safely out of the bath!
Most baby towels are lightweight squares, which parents have to hold awkwardly under their chin or between teeth in order to have two hands free to lift baby. The only alternative is to lay them on the bathroom floor, certainly not giving baby the warmth and protection they crave when lifted from bathwater into cold air. Both methods upset babies, so Helen and Polly came up with Cuddledry to make the bath exit a bonding time, not a stress!
The Cuddledry baby towel attaches to the parent like an apron, so both hands are free. Lifting baby up out of the bath is easy and safe, and you cuddle and dry your baby in your arms naturally, strengthening the bond between you when baby feels most vulnerable. You don't have to think about holding a towel at all.
This is the major safety advantage of the Cuddledry system, but there are plenty more features to its unique design. The towel ensures the parent STAYS DRY and therefore less likely to get the floor wet and slip, and the towel is ATTACHED to you which prevents the risk of having to move away from your baby for even a second. The SINGLE-HANDED EASY RELEASE poppers allow you to simply remove the towel from yourself and lay baby down on their changing mat still snugly wrapped. In addition, the towel is DOUBLE-LAYERED, not only giving it a luxurious thick texture, but absorbing water faster and keeping it away from baby's skin.
The Cuddledry certified organic baby bath towel is safer, more eco-friendly and luxurious than anything else you can buy for your baby.
Happy bathing!
